8-7-04 4-18-05 Special Weapons will be selling off the last of the SW45 parts built into a new gun called the SW45X, this gun is an upgrade over the old sw45 due to the fact it uses the new 40 cal receiver which cants the mag at 3 degrees rather then straight up and down. In addition, the mag will is part of the receiver not a weld on mag well. The mags for this gun are still modified Grease gun mags but they are NOT interchangeable with the orginal SW45. The gun will come in 3 models:

8-7-04 All sp10 $750 guns have been shipped !!!, we have a few orders they did not return calls those people will be offered guns at $950 at the end of the build. This does NOT include FS guns being built by top notch those ship this week.

8-2-04 We are a go on the sp10 pistol, we have been swamped with interest so we will be making 125-250 of these for a sept 2004 delivery, the gun will come as follows: Navy single side selector end cap with sling swivel black mp5 3 lug 16 flute barrel 1 30 round or 1 40 round mag Price will be $895 for orders placed before the ban ends and after the ban ends any remaining guns will be sold for $1050. we will post a order form tomorrow just fill it out and send it in the new model will be called the PSP-10.
7-19-04 We are considering making one run of SP10 pistols for a Sept 14 delivery it there is enough interest, if you are email me and I will start a email list. Special Weapons will make a decision over the next 2-3 weeks if they will do this. Estimated cost will be $900 and it will look like this
except it will have the semi auto NON ambi lower and a 3 lug 16 flute NON threaded barrel. 7-19-04 Should have all back ordered $750 guns shipped by the end of next week the second batch is at the molder now we need to get the $950 final payment over the next week, some $950 people will be shipped next week if they have their payments in due to some $750 order cancels. 6-27-04 All back ordered SW52x, SW32kx are shipped we are 4 SW32x away from being caught up on this model and this should happen this week. SP10 status we have 80 receivers in stock and they will be secondary machined Monday, 50 more are molded and in route to us now, the balance will be molded Monday and Tuesday, these should be to us by the end of the week or early next, we are still waiting on the cartridge case deflector that should be done Friday. All the guns will be build and test fired and will be sitting waiting for the deflector. We should start shipping in just about a week. The fit and final assembly of the guns is going perfectly, the big issue has been molding of the trunion and rails, with the mold catching the rails and snapping them off from time to time, we are going to add lead in features to the trunion and rails for the next 250 so the molding can go much smoother, all other aspects of this gun have gone perfectly. 6-10-04 The first SW52X shipped today if you have one on order and have not paid the balance call me asap, the backordered SW32KX will ship 6-14 to 6-15 and the SW32x will ship 6-17 to 6-21. 5-28-04 SP10 Final call in, we still have about 50 people who have not sent in the balance for the final payment of the SP10 if payment is not received by 6-9-04 your order will be void. If you decide to reorder later your reorder price is the current $1050. 4-24-04 We have put together a easy form to fill out for the final payments on the first 250 SP10 rifles, below is a link to the form. ONLY fill out and send in now if you are the $750 PRICE do not send in if you are the $950 price. If you have already send in payment do not bother filling out form. 4-19-04 SP10 production has started the first 250 guns are being released for molding today, final payment can not be made to insure you get your guns as soon as they are done. 4-6-04 The SP10 production guns are just around the corner!!! These are the first guns off the mold, we should be in production in just a week or two!!!!

1-21-04 The last of the final sw5 build have shipped, Special Weapons is now focused on the new SP10. The molds are all in the USA and the final work on shutting off on the trunion and rails is in process. They hope to have a gun being test fired in just a week or two. Production will start as soon as the molds are bought off. Unlike the SW5 guns that require a lot of prep to build the sp10 only require 2-3 holes to be machined after molding so builds will go very fast. I will post the pictures of the first gun as soon as we start shooting it. I will also keep you posted on the remaining balances and when they will be due.
We have also hit the 250 gun mark for the sp10 so the new price is $950. The overall support of the gun buying public is great and I think they will be very happy with this new gun. It is being called the gun Hk should have made.

News 12-14-03 SW5 production sold out no more will be made!!
7-30-03 Special Weapons is doing one run of semi auto civilian MP10 guns!!!!
7-30-03 This is it for the SW5 production the last build will be Sept or Oct 2003 after that no more receivers or guns!!!

2-24-03 End of production for the SW45, this is it. There is one build in progress and one more will take place in June 2003 and that will be it, the rest of the SW45 parts will be used to build MP10-45 guns in late 2003. We will only take order for SW45s until May 31, 2003 after that NO more.
SW5 production looks to be ending about Sept 2003. This date is not firm yet but we are not counting on anymore guns after the Sept build, we will still give 60 days notice before stopping to take orders.
